My name is Ali, I’m 23 years old, from Gaza. I was a university student chasing my dream and building my future — until the war took everything from me.

Since the beginning of the war, our home was destroyed. All our memories turned to dust. Now I live with my family — 8 people including my 3-year-old little sister — in a small, torn tent that offers no protection from the burning sun or the freezing cold.

We are facing a deadly famine. For over two weeks, we’ve had almost nothing to eat. We are living the harshest days of our lives, struggling to survive each day.

I’m reaching out with hope that someone will hear my voice.
