Help me achieve my dream of becoming a nurse and saving lives in Gaza

Hello, my name is Ali Al-Maghribi. I live in Gaza and am a nursing student in my final year of university. I only have one semester left to fulfill my dream of becoming a nurse and serving my community, but the circumstances we live in make this dream increasingly distant.

I am an ambitious young man living in an area suffering from an ongoing blockade, the destruction of war, and a lack of basic resources. Over the past years, I have continued my studies despite harsh conditions: bombing, power and water shortages, and even a lack of security.

I am the sole breadwinner for my family after my father suffered from a chronic illness. I have been working at whatever I can to provide them with food and medicine. Despite all these responsibilities, I am trying to complete my studies and achieve my dream of wearing a nurse's uniform, serving patients, and comforting those in pain.

But now, I am no longer able to cover the costs of my final semester, from tuition fees and transportation to basic school supplies.

I appeal to you from my heart. Any assistance—no matter how small—will bring me closer to my goal and give me the opportunity to become a nurse carrying a humanitarian message in a place torn apart by crises.
