My name is Ali Al-Bardawil, a young Palestinian man living in Gaza. One dark day in 2023, I was walking on a street near my home when I was hit by shrapnel from a shell during a surprise raid. The shrapnel penetrated my abdomen, leaving a deep wound that changed my life forever.

I was taken to the hospital in critical condition and underwent several surgeries to save my life. Despite medical efforts, I began to suffer from serious health complications, including constant pain and a reduced ability to perform daily activities. To this day, I still need continuous medical follow-up, expensive medications, and possibly an additional surgery to complete the treatment.

The injury not only changed my body, but also affected my psychological and social life. Despite all of this, I decided to resist and find a way back to life. I began sharing my story with others and working to support the wounded and injured around me, trying to be an inspiration to everyone suffering from pain.

But the journey to recovery in Gaza is not easy, due to the lack of medical capabilities and resources. For this reason, I am asking for your help through this GoFundMe campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise the necessary donations to cover the cost of ongoing treatment and possible surgery, as well as the medications and medical equipment I need.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in my life. Your support is not just financial assistance, but a message of hope that shows me that the world is still full of goodness and solidarity.

I am the one who helps my brothers, the children who need Pampers milk and healthy food, and I am the one who helps my family complete it with food, drink and clothing. I am responsible for the family because my father lost his job in the war.
