Help The Alhambra Bulldogs Get Guardian Caps

We are overwhelmed with the communities support for this initiative. Due to your generosity, we have ordered the Guardian caps for Alhambra’s football program. As donations continued to come in past our goal, we thought what else can we do? After speaking with the training staff we have decided to dedicate the additional donation to buying some new helmets and supporting the concussion protocol program at Alhambra.

Helmets are really expensive, but we will get as many as possible with the funds that are raised. By adding new helmets with advanced protection technology will have a positive safety impact for years to come.

One of the most impactful ways to do this today is by helping the team purchase Guardian Caps, a protective shell worn over football helmets that significantly reduces impact during practices and games. These caps are designed to absorb and disperse energy from collisions, helping to lower the risk of head injuries and concussions. For high school programs like Alhambra's operating on tight budgets, this kind of safety upgrade is often out of reach without community support.

By contributing to this initiative, donors are directly helping to create a safer playing environment for student-athletes. Guardian Caps have been adopted by college and professional teams across the country, and bringing this level of protection to high school players is a powerful statement of care and commitment. Every dollar donated goes toward equipping the team with this essential gear, ensuring that players can train and compete with greater confidence and reduced risk.

I started this because my son and his friends are Bulldogs. All funds raised will go towards the purchasing of guardian caps. Any additional monies raised above the cost of the caps will be donated to the football program to be used for additional safety equipment and training.
