Algeria can’t breath. As you are all aware the COVID situation in Algeria is severe. People are dying due to lack of oxygen and hospitals are completely saturated. The hospital staff and the resources are completely depleted. People are dying due to not having the simple resources and necessities to breath.
Due to this situation happening in our beloved Algeria. Algerian Communities across the globe have raised awareness and come together to combat this crisis and help our people. This GofundMe is an initiative started by the Algerian community in Qatar & the USA, in coordination with Algeria United Foundation, by launching a major campaign to collect donations for the acquisition of oxygen concentration devices, these machines are critical to fighting COVID when the lungs fail to help the sick breath properly. This initiative which is run and followed up by the Algeria United Foundation will assist in combating the 3rd wave and most dangerous wave of COVID that has struck and destroyed Algeria and its people. The machines purchased through this collection will be loaned and used by the Algerian people free of charge. We have a staff of trained medical doctors, nurses, and call center volunteers who are volunteering their time and efforts to assist with this crisis. The volunteers have a system in place to identify, located, and inform the people afflicted with COVID.
في ظل الوضعية الوبائية الكارثية التي تعيشها بلادنا الحبيبة الجزائر، تطلق الجالية الجزائرية في قطر وفي الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، تحت إشراف مجموعة جزائريون في قطر بالتنسيق مع مؤسسة الجزائر المتحدة الخيرية، حملة كبرى لجمع التبرعات لاقتناء أجهزة الأكسيجين يتم تسييرها ومتابعتها من قبل المؤسسة، بعد تقديمها مجانا لمرضى الكوفيد-19، مع تقديم إرشاد ورعاية طبية لهم.
وتأتي هذه الحملة في ظل موجة ثالثة هي الأعنف منذ بداية الوباء، امتلأت فيها المستشفيات بالمرضى، وما باتت المكثفات التي تسيرها المؤسسة ولا بقية الجمعيات تكفي وتغطي الطلبات عليها، حيث إن اتصالات المرضى تتزايد وفاقت قائمة الانتظار الـ 1600 مسجَل عند المؤسسة.
ندعو إخوتنا مِنَ جاليتنا في قطر خاصةً، والمهجر عامةً، للمساهمة قدر المستطاع وتقديم يد العون، فالجزائر .اليوم تحتاجكم، الشعب الجزائري يحتاجكم، كونوا في الموعد بالمساهمة في إنقاذ الأرواح.
