Hi, my name is Maria, and I’m raising funds for my grandpa, Alfredo Orellana, who lives in Ecuador. This summer of 2025, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and since then, our family’s life has changed in a way we never expected.

Not being able to be by his side has been one of the hardest things for me. I wish I could go with him to his appointments, help care for him, and tell him in person that everything will be okay but because of the distance, I can’t. What I can do is try my best to support him from here, and that’s why I created this fundraiser.

My grandpa Alfredo is a humble, hard working man with a heart full of love. He has always been the strength of our family. He raised us with values, faith, and so much care and now it’s our turn to be strong for him.

The medical expenses in Ecuador are very difficult to manage. Treatments, medications, medical exams, doctor visits, and transportation to hospitals are becoming more and more expensive, and our family is struggling to keep up. We are doing everything we can, but we need help to continue this fight.

With all my heart, I’m asking for your support. Any donation no matter the amount will go directly toward his medical care. Even if you cannot donate, simply sharing his story or keeping him in your prayers would mean so much to us.

Every act of support brings us hope. Every message reminds my grandpa that he is not fighting this battle alone.

Ayudemos a mi abuelito Alfredo a luchar contra el cáncer de próstata

Hola, mi nombre es Maria y estoy recaudando fondos para mi abuelito, Alfredo Orellana, quien vive en Ecuador.

Este verano del 2025 fue diagnosticado con cáncer de próstata, y desde ese momento nuestra familia ha vivido un cambio muy grande.

Lo más duro ha sido no poder estar a su lado. Me gustaría acompañarlo a sus citas médicas, cuidarlo y decirle que todo va a estar bien, pero la distancia no me lo permite. Aun así, quiero hacer todo lo posible para ayudarlo desde aquí, y por eso decidí crear esta página.

Mi abuelito Alfredo siempre ha sido un hombre trabajador, humilde y de gran corazón. Es el pilar de nuestra familia. Gracias a él crecimos con valores, con fe y con mucho amor. Hoy le toca a él ser fuerte, y a nosotros apoyarlo como siempre nos apoyó.

Los gastos médicos en Ecuador se han vuelto muy difíciles de cubrir, especialmente los tratamientos, medicamentos, exámenes, citas médicas y transporte a los hospitales. Como familia estamos haciendo lo que podemos, pero necesitamos ayuda para poder continuar esta lucha.

Por eso, con mucha humildad, les pido su apoyo. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, será destinado directamente a sus gastos médicos. Incluyendo medicación, visitas médicas, estudios, tratamientos y todo lo necesario para su cuidado. Y si no pueden donar, compartir esta campaña o incluir a mi abuelito en sus oraciones también nos ayuda mucho.
