On October 6th, 2025, tragedy struck when our dear friends Alfredo and Nichelle Gonzales, the hardworking owners of Elotes El Regio #2 in Corpus Christi, lost their beloved food truck to a devastating fire.

In just moments, they lost everything inside the truck — equipment, supplies, and even personal belongings. For a family of six, this wasn’t just a business — it was their dream, their livelihood, and the way they supported their children and served our community.

If you’ve ever stopped by Elotes El Regio #2, you know the heart behind every roasted corn, taco, and plate they served. Alfredo and Nichelle always welcomed everyone with smiles, kindness, and the best Mexican food in town. They’ve built more than a business — they’ve built a family within our Corpus Christi community.

Now, it’s our turn to give back.

We’re asking our community to come together and help Alfredo, Nichelle, and their children rebuild what was lost. Every dollar raised will go toward getting them back on their feet — replacing essential equipment, restocking ingredients, and helping them restart their dream.
