Thursday, July 18, 2019 was a tragic day for the Chivara family. Alfredo was starting up the barbecue for his family’s dinner when the fuel for the charcoal exploded on him. Immediately engulfed in flames, with his children at his side, over 50% of his body was burnt. 

Alfredo was transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA where he is under the care of some of the best doctors in the area. They are anticipating that he will be in the hospital for at least a month, with an additional 2-3 of care needed at home. 

Alfredo is the sole worker of the family and has four adorable children at home. His wife, Erica, has been by his side at the hospital since the accident. 

Now is is the time for the community to help the Chavira family while Alfredo and Erica focus on his healing. Numerous surgeries and days at the hospital are ahead of them. Gas money, parking fees, meals and expenses lie ahead this wonderful family.

Jueves, Julio 18, 2019 fue un día trágico para la familia Chavira. Alfredo estaba prendiendo el asador para hacer una cena familiar cuando el combustible para prender el carbón explotó en el. Inmediatamente se prendió en llamas, con uno de sus hijos al lado de él, dejándolo con 50% de su cuerpo quemado.

Alfredo fue transferido a Harborview Medical Center en Seattle, WA el está al cuidado de unos de los mejores doctores que hay en la área. Están anticipando que el estará en el hospital por al menos un 1 mes y con 2-3 meses de cuidados en casa.

Alfredo es el único proveedor de su familia y el tiene 4 hermosos hijos en casa. Su esposa, Érica, a estado a su lado en el hospital desde su accidente.

Este es el momento para que la comunidad ofrezca su ayuda y apoyo a la familia Chavira mientras Alfredo y Érica se enfocan en su recuperación. Varias cirugías y días en el hospital están por venir. Dinero para gas, parqueadero, comidas y muchos otros gastos se les avecina a esta hermosa Familia.
