Help Alfonso Get a New Insulin Pump

My son, Alfonso, has been a type 1 diabetic since he was two years old. At 16, he has an insulin pump that he has simply outgrown. The Medtronic insulin pump that he currently has does not manage his blood sugars as well as it should. His endocrinologist doctor recommended the Omnipod pump with the Dexcom sensor. This new pump does not have a tube that connects to his body, allowing him more freedom. The cost of the new Omnipod pump with the Dexcom sensor is around $1000. We are only aiming to get assistance with paying for his device, not the full cost. We would love to provide Alfonso with an insulin pump that provides him with more freedom and manages his blood sugars more accurately.
