Hello our names are Sophie and Ray and we are the parents of Alfie and Ethan and we are trying to raise funds for our 12 and 8

year old sons to be able to get to the world karate championships in Italy

Karate is a serious passion of theirs which has helped them both physically and mentally. both training for a couple of years and has become part of the Black Belt Academy team.

Karate is more than just a sport to these boys, they both work tirelessly to perfect their forms to become better and better eachtime!

They have both competed in a few competitions already with the last being very recently where they both gained the title UK ENGLISH CHAMPIONS.

As their parents its also so rewarding for us to see how hard working and passionate about their shared passion they both are.

For people who don't know Alfie, karate has gave him so much confidence and something to look forward to in life where at the age 12 he has faced many challenges however karate has pulled him out and he says it gives him purpose.

they have both worked their way up with Alfie currently being a Brown x2 stripe belt with only 1 step away from becoming a junior black belt which he is also working towards for the end of the year.

Ethan is a orange stripe belt and working endlessly to achieving his Green belt in June.

Both boys enjoy every part that karate brings them however they both have found a love for the traditional Korean and Japanese kata which for people that dont know kata is a choreographed, pre arranged sequence of defensive and offensive techniques- such as strikes, blocks and kicks in a performance based routine.

Also both boys have a passions for the creative side of karate performing a musical open hand and both perform in muscial weapons forms.

We would love to be able to fill a dream of performing on a massive stage that the world championships would offer them and compete for Great Britain.
