Hey everyone,
I’m reaching out because I want to help my incredibly talented friend and coworker, Alexx, take the next big step toward her dream.
If you know Alexx, you know how talented and hardworking she is. She’s been dreaming of becoming a tattoo artist for as long as I’ve known her, and now she’s ready to make it happen—but she needs a little support.
In Oregon, you have to go to tattoo school (kind of like cosmetology school), but the catch is that there’s no financial aid or scholarships to help with the cost. The tuition alone is $15,000, which is a huge barrier. All of the funds raised will go toward helping her not only pay tuition, but also cover living expenses so she can focus on school.
Alexx is one of the most motivated and creative people I know. She works with me full time at REI, juggles multiple freelance jobs in graphic design and is passionate in building her art business,
