On January 5th, a fire broke out in a Minneapolis apartment building, displacing 24 people, including Alex, his family member, and his dog. The building is now uninhabitable, and most of Alex's and his mother's possessions were lost or damaged beyond use. In just a few hours, their home and sense of security were taken away, leaving them searching for a safe place to stay and starting over with almost nothing.

Alex is a dedicated graduate student, about to begin a new semester in his PhD program. He is now facing the challenge of continuing his studies without any school supplies or a computer, while also helping his family recover from this sudden loss. The need for essentials like clothing, furniture, and personal items is urgent as they work to rebuild their lives.

Funds raised will help Alex and his family find permanent housing, replace what was lost, and ensure Alex can return to school prepared. Any donation or share makes a real difference as Alex and his family work to recover and move forward.
