Hello friends! My name is Dominic and I am asking for help for my sister, nieces, and nephew as they honor Alex Flores, my brother in law and their husband and father, who sadly passed away last night after a two year battle with colon cancer.

Alex was only 36 years old when he passed. He not only leaves behind my sister Deborah, his daughters Cassandra (12) and Mila (8), his son Alex Jr. (7), but countless others who love him and will miss him dearly.

Alex was extraordinarily generous, kind, hospitable, and gracious as a host so his family seeks to give him a fitting celebration of his life that honors his memory and reflects his character for welcoming others with hospitality and joy.

My sister and her children face a challenging road ahead with this tremendous loss and I hope to give them as much help as possible as they begin to grieve Alex’s death. And I pray that helping them in these early days of grief can be a tangible way to show them that very kind, beautiful, and good things are still possible in difficult seasons.
