My name is Alexis, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing one of the toughest times of my life. Recently, I was in a devastating car accident where my car rolled five times. In an instant, everything changed. I lost my only vehicle and suffered severe injuries: multiple fractures in my knee and leg, ( ACL MCL PCL LCL) ligament damage, extreme tissue and muscle damage on my arm, two punctured lungs, 4 broken ribs, and a concussion. Right now, I can’t walk or work, and I’m doing my best to care for my kitten while living alone.

The road to recovery is long and uncertain. I just had a reconstructive and repair knee surgery. I need help covering my rent so I don’t lose my home, getting a vehicle to regain my independence, and paying for the physical therapy that’s essential for my healing. Every day is a challenge, but I’m determined to keep moving forward, even when it feels overwhelming.

I don’t like asking for help, but I truly have no other option right now. If you’re able to support me in any way, it would mean the world.
