Hello friends. My name is Alexis Love. I have a special opportunity to provide help at an orphanage in La Paz, Bolivia for several weeks this summer ministering to children at the Hogar Casa De Esperanza, (click the link underlined). This will be my first time going overseas, and I will be joining Jamison and Diedra Nass, who used to live and minister in La Paz for years. They are members of Park Avenue Church in Minneapolis.

I am raising funds for the round trip flight, Bolivian Visa, vaccinations, and gifts of love I can take to the children, (snacks, hand-crafted music journals, toys, etc). I will be ministering through music, service, and prayer in order to allow God to do a mighty thing through me and for his little ones.

Many of you know, I am a Career and Technical Education teacher in Law and Public Safety. My background is in Law Enforcement Leadership, and also Youth and Children's Choir Ministry. If you know me, you know I just turned 50 on Mother's Day this year. What you may not have known, is that I never imagined I would be spending this milestone birthday without my mother and grandmother who have passed away, my youngest son, who is away serving the country, and without my Godmother (Aunt Linda), who relocated in March. It all hit me at once, and I have been struggling with sadness, loneliness, and anxiety about what my purpose is. Well, as I am working through this, I ask that you pray for me, and bless me with whatever you can to help me reach this goal as soon as possible.
