I am a single mom of two, and the past few months have been incredibly challenging for my family. Five months ago, my car was stolen, and it turned my world upside down. Without a way to get to work or take my kids to school, I lost my job. I didn’t have family or friends who could help with transportation, so every day became a struggle to keep up with basic needs and responsibilities.

Last week, I was finally able to start working again, and I am doing everything I can to get back on track. However, my rent is so far behind that I am at risk of losing our apartment. With winter here and the temperatures dropping, I am scared of what could happen if we lose our home. My children deserve stability and a safe place to live, and I am determined to do everything I can for them.
