I am a full-time forensic science student at Lasell University, and I am reaching out for help as I approach my final semester. I am proud to be a first generation college student, let alone pursue a career as a scientist. Despite my dedication and hard work, I am not eligible for financial aid for these last few credits. I have already taken on federal loans, and I am hoping to avoid private loans as I finish my degree.

Throughout my college journey, I have consistently pushed myself, maxing out at 18 credits each semester for the past four years while keeping a GPA of 3.7, completing a research project, working over 20 hours a week, and serving on the Campus Activities Board. My biggest goal in life is to work for the FBI as a lab tech, hopefully in the trace evidence field. Balancing academics, work, and extracurriculars has been challenging, but I am determined to graduate and make the most of my education. I am passionate about forensic science and hope to expand my degree in the future.

The funds raised will go directly toward my tuition for the final 6 credits I need to complete my degree. If there is any money left over, it will be used to pay down my federal loans, helping me start my career with less debt.
