Help Alexis get through law school

Hi! My name is Alexis. I am fundraising for help to get me through law school. I am a single mother, trying to juggle school, work, and being the best mother that I can be. Unlike my undergraduate education, in which I successfully graduated from the University of California Irvine on a full scholarship, I was not awarded financial aid for law school besides some loans for tuition. In all honesty, I have been struggling to afford to pay for daycare for my son amongst other necessities for my household. The financial burdens have been a significant obstacle I consistently face while trying to pour as much of myself as possible into my studies. I currently attend the University of San Francisco School of Law and the tuition + living expenses are immense, especially with a child. The opportunity of getting through law school and obtaining my JD will give me the ability to break generational curses not only from within my family but it will also allow me to impact the lives of others who come from where I come from. I am not the traditional law student, being that I am a financially burdened, former foster youth, Black woman from South Central, Los Angeles. My determination and faith in God’s plan for me has got me to where I am today and I am extremely grateful for any and all of the help I will receive along my journey.
