Help a Single Mom of 3 Rebuild After Domestic Violence

Hi, my name is Alexis Ford, and I’m a single mother of three amazing children, just trying to give them the stability, safety, and home they deserve.

After surviving domestic violence, we found temporary refuge in a shelter. While I’m beyond grateful for that support, the journey hasn’t been easy. We were told there would be financial assistance to help us transition into a safe apartment, but unfortunately, due to unexpected hiccups and delays in funding, we’re now left in a very uncertain position.

I’ve worked hard to get us to this point—navigating trauma, maintaining my job, and holding my little family together—but I need help getting over this last hurdle. I’ve found an apartment ready to move into, I’ve already paid the deposit, but I need support covering the move-in costs: first month’s rent, and basic essentials to fill the apartment.
