My name is Alexis Willis, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. I was already living with family, trying to better my life and not be alone, when my sister was killed due to gun violence just two days before my birthday on November 22, 2025. I have worked hard as a substitute teacher and dog sitter, and I am passionate about growing as an artist and pursuing a future in the health sciences.

Recently, my home environment became emotionally and physically unsafe, and I found myself without the mental health support I need to respond in a healthy way. The situation has become urgent, and I am at risk of needing temporary shelter. I am doing everything I can to avoid homelessness, but I need help to secure a stable living environment so I can continue to move forward.
