Hello, my name is Amanda Mitchell; I am Alexis' twin sister. I am creating this fundraiser to help my sister and her almost 2 year-old son start their lives over. Alexis is a survivor of Domestic Violence and was brutalized in an attack early Friday morning where her son Abraxas was present(un-harmed and healthy), she was treated and assessed in Storm Lake, where they life-flighted her to Sioux City trauma center to stablize her, then life-flighter her to Omaha for plastic surgery and a hand specialist. She has had surgery and is stable and is still currently in the hospital in Omaha. We are asking for any help with medical bills, and anything else we can think of at this moment to help ease her financial burden that will be approaching. The last thing we want is her to be worried and stressed due to the cost of everything.
