Alex Wehrman is an amazing young woman, as well as my daughter who has her sights set on the Olympics as an Equestrian eventer!

This year Alex & Indy have qualified for the American Eventing Championships in Lexington Kentucky. Alex qualified for the championships while continuing to work as a groomer and rider 7 days a week, so she could pay for all boarding fees and training for herself and Indy. which she saved up to buy Indy herself. Indy is Alex's horse and what a team they are!

Becoming a champion takes hard work and dedication, Alex has shown both since the age of 9. Quickly into the first couple of lessons that's when she set her mind on going to the Olympics. Now at the age of 21, she is one step closer!

The total cost of the trip to Kentucky is about $11,000. Alex has saved enough for all the airfare, hotel cost, food, and other travel expenses. She needs help with getting her horse, Indy there!

Transporting a horse across the country requires expensive expertise. It's a three-day trip each way, and the horse must be given breaks, exercise, and care to ensure its safety and well-being. It's imperative that Indy arrive ready to compete and in shape to do his best. That's where you can help! She needs to raise $6800 to get Indy to Kentucky and home.

All funds raised will go directly toward Indy's transportation.

*Eventing is an equestrian event where a single horse and rider compete against other competitors across three disciplines of riding, dressage, cross-country and show jumping. This event has its roots in the Calvery test that required mastery of several types of riding.
