Dear Friends,
I invited you all here because, in one way or another, you have supported me—both in life and in my work on and off stage. Whether you’ve watched my movie, come to see a play I’ve done, or simply shared an encouraging word, I am deeply grateful for your love and support.
Right now, my focus has shifted to caring for my stepfather, Mr. Furnie, alongside my mother. He is currently bedbound following surgery to remove an infection from his leg. His recovery requires extensive physical therapy and around-the-clock care, and I’ve been out of work as a nanny since returning home three months ago to help.
Mr. Furnie has always been one of my biggest supporters—he even prophesied that I would travel the world as an artist before I ever had the courage to sing publicly. Now, it’s my turn to give back to him.
Despite these challenges, I have exciting news: I recently joined Actor’s Equity Union, signed with two New York agents from Carson Agency, and had Broadway auditions this year!
While I haven’t booked a role yet, I am working hard to stay prepared for when the right
opportunity comes.
To keep moving forward in my career, I need new headshots, vocal lessons, and to maintain my Equity insurance. I’m raising funds not just for these professional needs, but also to help support my family during this difficult time.
If you feel moved to contribute, any amount would mean the world to me. If you’re unable to
give, sharing this with others is just as valuable. Your support—whether financial, emotional, or
simply spreading the word—is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for being apart of my journey!
With love and gratitude,
Alexcia Thompson
