My name is Alexandria, and I am currently in my 2nd year as an accounting major at UGA with a deep passion for business and travel. I’ve been accepted into the Terry College of Business’s Business in Italy program, a month-long study abroad opportunity that will allow me to explore international business, make valuable connections, and earn my experiential learning credit. This trip is truly a once-in-a-lifetime chance to combine my love for business and travel, while also gaining hands-on experience that will help me kickstart my career.

I currently work two jobs while attending classes, and I rely on VA benefits and student loans to cover my tuition and living expenses. I pay many expenses including rent, and after everything is taken care of, there’s not much left to save for opportunities like this. Without additional support, I simply won’t be able to afford this program. As a presidential scholar, I am also very dedicated to succeeding in my academics and taking advantages of UGA's opportunities despite these hardships.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering the costs of my study abroad trip. This experience will help me grow my network, learn about international business practices, and gain a more culturally realistic view of the business world. I’m very excited at the opportunity to make lifelong friends and return with new knowledge and inspiration. Any support you can give will make a huge difference in helping me achieve my dreams.
