Help Alexandre Segantin and Family Battle ALS

It is with a saddened heart that we start this GoFundMe page after the devastating diagnosis that struck the Segantin family in December of 2023. Although, with unshakable FAITH we know we will win!

We appreciate all the love and support for the life of our brother in Christ, Alexandre Segantin who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It affects all muscular strength and it is a disease that at the moment, has no cure.

ALS is a relentless disease that affects the nervous system, depriving individuals of their ability to move, speak and breathe. That's why Alexandre is no longer able to work and depends on physical help for almost everything he needs to do in his daily life. Along with the physical loss, the individual and family has also experienced extreme emotional trauma.

That's why we also need Spiritual support in the hope of bringing to mind everything that brings hope to our hearts.

Alexandre is 47 years old, he is a husband to Pamela and a father to David and Daniel. An example of strength and determination, he was always willing to face hard work in order to provide for his family.

And this disease has left him feeling very worried, not being able to provide for his family, as he has always done.

They have fixed monthly expenses and in addition, there was an increase in medical expenses, mainly with supplementary medications and hospital equipment to make their home a little more adaptable.

This GoFundMe campaign was created to alleviate some of the financial burdens brought on by ALS and ensure that Alexandre's family can focus on what really matters - maintaining his quality of life, his physical health, and his spiritual life well-grounded.

The treatment has been carried out by USF professionals in Tampa-FL, including home physiotherapy and the use of three continuous medications to slow the progress of the disease.

Science has not yet found a cure for this disease, but we believe in Christ Jesus, son of the living God, who heals and frees all those who believe in Him because only He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

We would like to thank everyone who can contribute and their support. Gratitude unites our hearts, with prayers and supplications we want to magnify and glorify God through our lives!

É com o coração partido que começamos esta página GoFundMe e pelo triste diagnóstico que assolou essa família em Dezembro/23. Unidos por uma causa que exige nossa compaixão nesse momento tão difícil da Família Segantin mas com FÉ inabalável iremos vencer !!!

Contamos com todo amor e apoio que possa fazer a diferença na vida do nosso irmão em Cristo Alexandre Segantin que foi diagnosticado com ALS Esclerose Lateral Amiotrófica (ELA em português) doença ainda rara sem cura, que afeta toda a força muscular também conhecida como Doença de Lou Gehrig.

ALS/ELA é uma doença implacável que afeta o sistema nervoso, privando os indivíduos de sua capacidade de se mover, falar e respirar. Por isso Alexandre hoje não consegue mais trabalhar e depende de ajuda física para quase tudo que precisa fazer no seu dia a dia.Junto com a perda física, o trauma emocional tanto para o indivíduo quanto para sua família é extremo.

Por isso também precisamos de apoio Espiritual na esperança de trazer a memória tudo aquilo que lhe traz a esperança aos seus corações!

Alexandre tem 47 anos, é esposo e pai de Davi e Daniel. Exemplo de força e determinação, sempre esteve bem disposto a enfrentar o trabalho árduo na condição de proporcionar algo melhor para sua família.

E isso hoje tem o deixado muito preocupado, o não poder enfrentar a rotina de um trabalhador pai de família.

As despesas mensais são fixas e não param, ainda houve um acréscimo com despesas médicas, principalmente com a suplementação das medicações e os aparatos hospitalares para tornar sua casa um pouco mais adaptável.

Esta campanha GoFundMe foi criada para aliviar alguns dos encargos financeiros trazidos pela ALS/ELA e garantir que a família de Alexandre possa se concentrar naquilo que realmente importa - manter sua qualidade de vida, sua saúde física e seu espiritual bem alicerçado na rocha.

Hoje o tratamento tem sido realizado pelos profissionais da USF em Tampa-FL, incluindo fisioterapia domiciliar e uso de três medicações contínuas para retardar o progresso da enfermidade.

A ciência ainda ainda não encontrou a cura para essa doença mas nós cremos em Cristo Jesus filho do Deus vivo que cura, sara e liberta todos aqueles que n’Ele crê porque somente Ele é galardoador dos que o buscam.
