Alexandra, one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know. She has always been the first one to reach out and give a helping hand to those around her.
Now she and her family need our support.
It’s been 21 months since Alexandra’s health started to decline and she began the most challenging time of her life. It took 15 months to finally reach a diagnosis after numerous visits to doctors and a great variety of tests. There have been many limitations in her quality of life because of her physical symptoms.
The whole year of 2018 and all of this year she has been searching for answers. . . . reaching out to more than a dozen different doctors and specialists, trying both traditional and alternative ways to find a diagnosis.
Finally, In March of this year she finally got her diagnosis : Mold toxicity!
This diagnosis meant first finding and then eliminating the cause of her exposure. This has lead to her & her family having to leave their house and most of their belongings !
After 3 months of limited progress on her recovery and yet another series of tests, she received an additional diagnosis : Lyme disease!
Because of the chronic state of her health, she had to quit her job and needs to receive intensive treatment at an
out-of-state clinic.
By now, she has already exhausted all family financial resources. Her medical expenses have accumulated for far more than her family can manage. Most of her doctors’ visits and tests that she has had to endure in order to find her diagnosis have not been covered by insurance.
This treatment will not be covered either.
She now needs our help to continue on her path and go for this intensive treatment.
I am thanking you in advance for any support you are able to provide.
