Help Alexander ‘Zando’ Clovis Fight Leukemia
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Supporters,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts but unwavering hope as we rally around our beloved Alexander Clovis, a devoted husband, father, and cherished member of the Belle Vue, Vieux Fort community. Recently, Alexander was diagnosed with leukemia, an unexpected and life-altering battle that has turned our world upside down.
Zando’s Story
In February 2025, what began as a routine blood test from the local Health and Wellness Center, encouraged by his church community quickly turned into a life-changing moment for Alexander and all of us. After alarming results, he was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with leukemia. Doctors found dangerously low platelets, severe anemia, and high white blood cell counts — along with swollen lymph nodes and other concerning symptoms.
In the weeks leading up to his diagnosis, his loving wife, Jamlin, noticed troubling signs: constant tiredness, shortness of breath, fever, pale skin, and a dry cough. The official diagnosis confirmed our fears — and now, he faces a tough road ahead with costly treatments, regular hospital stays, and specialized care.
Zando is now in a fight for his life, but he’s not just fighting for himself. He’s fighting for his family. Alexander and his wife are the proud parents of five children, including two younger boys — one just 11 years old and another only 3 years old.
Alexander has always been the rock of his family — a quiet hero who has spent his life quietly giving to others, whether through church, community work, or simply offering kindness to those around him.
The Urgent Need for Support
Since his diagnosis, Alexander has been undergoing critical medical evaluations, treatments, and hospital care. His journey ahead involves extensive treatments, including possible chemotherapy, medications, and ongoing specialist consultations.
As you can imagine, the financial strain of medical expenses, travel costs, and daily living expenses is overwhelming for the Clovis family. This is why we are humbly reaching out for your support to help cover:
• High-Risk Polychemotherapy & 40-Day Hospitalization: $136,650 USD
• One-Way Air Ambulance (Saint Lucia to Colombia): $46,275 USD
Total Fundraising Goal: $182,925 USD
