Hi, my name is Alexander Torain, and I’m a freshman Finance major at Howard University from Newark, New Jersey. Attending Howard has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I’ve worked hard to earn my place here through service, community involvement, and a passion for learning that drives me to succeed every day.

Why I’m Asking for Help

Unfortunately, I’m currently facing a financial obstacle that could prevent me from continuing my education this spring.

An outstanding balance on my student account has placed my registration on hold, putting my academic progress and future goals at risk. Despite my best efforts to secure scholarships, part-time work, and financial aid, I’ve reached a point where I can’t cover the remaining amount on my own.

My Goal

I’m raising funds to clear my outstanding tuition balance and remain enrolled for the upcoming semester. Every dollar helps ensure I can continue my studies without interruption and stay on track to earn my degree in Finance.
