Help Alexander Overcome Severe Osteoporosis

Hello,

I'm reaching out with a humble heart and a determination to overcome the obstacles that life has thrown my way. My name is Alexander Bouchard, and at the age of 20, I find myself in a battle against a relentless, undiagnosed condition that's taken a severe toll on my body, particularly my bones.

I've been bedridden for almost a year now, and my once vibrant dreams have been replaced by the harsh reality of battling severe osteoporosis. This journey began almost 8 years ago when I was just a child, starting with pain and fractures in my ankles. Back then, I had to rely on crutches just to get through school. Now, I use a cane as a lifeline to walk and navigate daily life, with the use of prescribed morphine.

Imagine being confined to a bed while your peers continue their studies and adventures. Imagine the frustration of missing out on experiences that should be the hallmark of youth. That's been my reality, and it's been incredibly challenging not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

The impact of this condition has been far-reaching. I've had to put my education on hold, focus on my mental health, and navigate the complex world of medical care. Despite the setbacks, I am determined to rise above this challenge.

However, the path to healing has been hindered by our current healthcare system. I've been on waiting lists for nearly a year, and my fear is that my condition will worsen if I don't receive timely intervention. Over the past year, my condition has deteriorated significantly, leading to the compression of my lumbar spine, causing excruciating pain and further limiting my mobility. I believe that my immune system is wreaking havoc on my body, and the urgency for intervention has never been greater. In just the past year, I've lost about 3 inches in height, which is a stark reminder of the toll this condition is taking on my body.

My search for answers has led me to a specialized medical facility in the United States, where experts have the knowledge and resources to provide the care I so desperately need. However, they require a down payment of $7,000 USD (approximately $10,000 CAD) to initiate the treatment.

In addition to the challenges posed by severe osteoporosis, I've also faced the burden of alopecia universalis, which has caused hair loss, and ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease. Moreover, my recent blood tests have shown signs of potential liver issues, further complicating my health journey.
