Help Alexander Fight Neuroblastoma

Alexander Bryant was a happy preschooler living in Kansas City, MO when he started having a limp in the fall of 2017.  The doctors initially thought it was growing pains and later rheumatoid arthritis.  Awhile later his mother discovered a lump on his head.  After several more doctors visits and tests the family was devastated to learn in May of 2018 that he was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma.  He is currently undergoing stem cell transplants as well as chemotherapy at Children's Mercy Hospital.  Sadly he'll be spending both his birthday as well as Christmas in the hospital.

I don't think any of us can fathom the stress this has been on his mom Andrea, dad Larry, and sisters Anna and Kaitlyn.    The family had been living in a townhouse and finally decided to purchase a home in April and then in May Alexander was diagnosed.  Andrea has had to leave work in order to stay at the hospital.  Larry, meanwhile has been working up to 70 hours per week in an attempt to pay their growing bills.  This whole ordeal has been an extreme hardship on the family.  I was recently thinking of what these kids really need and I thought to myself "their parents."  The more money generated the less their parents will have to work to pay their bills and the more time they can spend with their children.  I want to add, too, that I had to prod a little to get them to allow me to create a GoFundMe. It is a humbling experience to ask for help and I hope that we can all show them that they genuinely deserve it after all they have been through.

I'll add, too, that Larry works for Deffenbaugh and Andrea for Hy-vee.  Alexander is a student at Graden Elementary and his sisters are also enrolled in the Park Hill School System.  They all live in Walnut Creek.  If you're now realizing that you have something in common with this family please consider making a donation.  We all appreciate your help!  Thanks so much and Hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
