Alexa is facing a sudden and overwhelming medical emergency, and her family is asking for support during this difficult time. Until this week, Alexa had no idea anything was wrong. After being seen by doctors, they found a 21 cm cyst in Alexa’s abdomen and said it needs to be removed as soon as possible. What began as an unexpected discovery has quickly turned into an urgent need for major surgery, along with all the medical care that comes with it. Alexa is also a current college student and simply cannot afford the cost of such a major surgery on top of everything else.
