If you know Alexa, you likely know me, her best friend, Kirsten. I’m creating this GoFundMe with a heavy heart from her hospital bedside. I never thought I’d be one to turn to this website for help, but I also never thought I’d feel this helpless… plus, I know Alexa is too stubborn to ask for help her self.

Not only has Alexa tragically lost her father and nana (and job) this year, but after going to the ER for a migraine last night, the doctors discovered a four-centimeter mass on the right side of her brain. She is currently being transferred elsewhere to see a neurosurgeon and get more information.

Please keep Alexa, Myles, and the rest of their family in your prayers during this difficult time. And please, consider donating and/or sharing this link to help with her soon-to-be overflowing medical expenses, rent, bills, etc.

UPDATE:

Alexa has to have a right craniotomy sometime in the next week to remove the mass. A biopsy will then be done to determine what post-op treatment is needed. She will be kept as comfortable as possible at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center until the surgery.
