Dear family and friends,
Chelsey and I, Briana, are creating this gofundme to help our older sister, Alexa Lepp, as a way to assist against her recent diagnosis of triple negative metaplastic breast cancer, with one of the most aggressive treatments, as her diagnosis is one of the most aggressive breast cancers.
Our sister, we call her "Loo," is a natural giver, in everything she does, as a teacher, a sister, a daughter, a wife, a coach, a friend. Her spirit exudes love and the deepest care for all. To get this diagnosis is devastating at 31 years old.
In January 2022, Alexa was officially diagnosed with Stage 2B Triple Negative Metaplastic Breast Cancer, after having nerve pain. Loo has already gone through multiple doctor's appointments, CT scans, and is scheduled to start the "red devil" chemotherapy treatment in February 2022, and surgery after that. Depending on how her cancer responds to chemo, will depend on additional treatments. Because of how fast her cancer is moving, there is not enough time to get fertility treatments prior to her chemo, which will mean future fertility costs are unknown.

-Medical bills including, chemo treatments, radiation, double mastectomy, breast reconstruction, ovary removal, potential uterus removal
-Leave time for Alexa's husband, Andy
-Wigs and hair replacement options
-Specialty medications insurance cannot cover
-Mental health care costs
-Unpaid time off from work
-Deductibles to meet before insurance covers costs
-Fees for specialty medical doctors (oncologist, surgeons, etc)
-Transportation (gas and parking)
-Potential fertility post treatments
