Help Alexa Compete in World Cup Competition

My name is Alexa Finley, I am 16 and I am an equestrian from Romeo Michigan. Recently 11 talented riders and myself were selected to compete for the USA Saddleseat World Cup team, set to compete in South Africa in December. I am honored and very grateful for this opportunity. I have been riding horses since I can remember and have spent countless hours working with my beloved horses and striving to be the very best I can be. My mom is a horse trainer and I haven’t always had the easiest horses to ride, but these challenges have shaped me into the equestrian I am today and inevitably prepared me for the highest level of competition with unfamiliar horses in an unfamiliar country.

This team gives us athletes the opportunity to travel with each other and experience the thrill of competing internationally amongst many other talented equestrians.

This entire experience is just beginning and has already been incredible. However, in recent times, unfortunate events beyond the athletes control have caused us to no longer have our sponsorship, and now I’m asking for your help. I would love to continue to be with this team, but due to these recent challenges it has become difficult financially. These funds will help cover my expenses for travel, required attire, lodging, food, security, practices, appearances etc. I would love to travel with this team and my grandmother and my mom.
