Hi my name is Lindsey and I am raising money for a very good friend of mine, Alexa. She is a single mother of two beautiful children, Raelee and Tyler. Over the past few years she has suffered tremendously with her mental health. Since being diagnosed with bipolar in 2019, her mental health has triggered major health issues, her heart being the most critical of them. These things keep her from being able to find sustainable long-term employment. I personally have witnessed her work towards recovery and to me She is a fighter. She is working on strengthening herself mentally, emotionally, and physically for a job that she was recently hired for, but unfortunately was unable to pass the physical, and therefore unable to begin working. All that she wants more than anything is to be able to live a normal life and fit in with the rest of society. Because she has gone without steady income for such a long time she is unable to get caught up on paying her bills, there has also been periods of time where she couldn’t afford groceries. Her situation has become an emergency beyond being able to fix on her own. In February, her car was repossessed, she was able to get it back, but is still far behind on making payments she is in jeopardy of losing it. This last month her water and gas were shut were off. She just received her electric bill (which is generated annually ) and needs to pay it before it also get shut off as well. Her car registration was due this month, she needs to pay her insurance, gas to get to appointments, the grocery store, work. Everything we don’t realize are essential for Leyva, and being able to provide for a family are the things that she is slowly losing. All she wants is to be able to support her family, and be a better mother to her children who have suffered the most through all of this. She has been unsuccessful in getting help from outside resources despite her best efforts and I have seen her work so hard to make ends meet and work on getting healthy. Please help her and her her family get through this difficult time and their lives.
