Help Alex & Vera's Family - Refugees from Ukraine

Alex Zarenin, one of our Ukrainian co-workers, and his wife Vera have relatives who live in Ukraine. Vera's sisters, Maria and Hanna, their two boys, husband, and elderly mother managed to escape Chernigov, Ukraine and are currently refugees in Slovakia. The six of them managed to leave Ukraine, forced to abandon their homes and life behind. They will be staying in Slovakia at least for the next few months as they await the end of the war and more clarity on returning to Ukraine. Their homes in Chernigov were hit by Russian attacks and are uncertain what will be left when they are able to return.

 

While we have helped fund several months of accommodations in Slovakia at a corporate level, they are facing additional expenses of unknown duration in a foreign country away from their daily life, jobs, school, and medical care. With millions of refugees fleeing Ukraine, the prices of accommodations, goods, and services in neighboring countries like Slovakia are sky rocketing.

 

In addition to the numerous organizations providing relief efforts to refugees, many people have asked how they can specifically help our fellow co-worker Alex, his wife Vera, and their affected family. We are hosting this campaign to lend a #OneTeam helping hand to their beautiful family in an effort to provide some financial relief as they face this extremely difficult time and a future of uncertainty.

 

We will distribute these funds to Alex and Vera, who will then send them on to their family currently residing in Slovakia.
