Help Alex Share Lebanon's Story in 2025-26 Film Festivals!

HEY FRIENDS, FAMILY, STRANGERS, AND FELLOW CREATIVES !
We are launching a GoFundMe campaign ($750) for our good friend Alex Szymczak to pay for film festival application fees, ranging from $50-$150 per festival, for his newly finished documentary The Cedars Have Eyes: Lebanon in Crisis. The Cedars Have Eyes is a Lebanese-American documentary on the past, present and future of Lebanon, with a narrative centered on Lebanon's economic, financial, and sociopolitical crisis, as well as the 2020 Port of Beirut explosion. Alex is submitting for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 festival years. Find the trailer in this post or here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BPHOqlwGtU. Follow the documentary on Instagram @thecedarshaveeyes too!
We are hoping to raise a maximum of $750 which will go directly to Alex to reimburse him for film festival applications already submitted/to pay for several more upcoming applications. We are really hoping to support Alex in this time-sensitive and expensive endeavor, especially as this brilliant documentary comes at such a critical juncture in history. Support a local artist/filmmaker and donate whatever you have; every dollar helps!
