I am a father who has recently reached a point of financial hardship. The mother of my child has kept me off the birth certificate and is keeping my son from me, forcing me to fight in court for custody. All I want is what’s best for my son, and I believe it’s so important for both parents to be present in his life. I’ve only seen my son for a few minutes after he was born before I was chased out of the hospital, and it’s now been over half a month since I last saw him.

I have already filed a complaint with the court and have found a lawyer who was recommended by the man who baptized me. I trust this lawyer very much, but I am struggling to meet the retainer for legal services. In addition to legal fees, I also need a safer vehicle to transport my son when I am able to be with him.
