Help Alex Represent Team USA in Spain

Dear Friends and Family,

I am beyond excited to share that I have been selected to represent Team USA on the U24 National Ultimate team in Logroño, Spain, at the 2025 World Championships this June. This has been a dream of mine ever since I learned about Team USA when I was in middle school. I've been playing ultimate for the majority of my life and have been to three tryouts, the first being in my junior year of high school for the U20 team, in 2023 for U24 and finally in 2025, I will be donning the red white and blue.

The tournament being held in Spain is such a lucky coincidence as I just returned from an incredible semester studying abroad in Madrid. After a life changing experience immersed in the Spanish culture, I left already wanting to go back and now I am presented with the chance to do so just six months after I left. In a return to Spain, I would not only be able to play against the world's best players in the sport I love, but also get to work on my Spanish, which is what I am studying at Cal Poly.

Unfortunately, ultimate is not yet the blockbuster, multimillion dollar sport that can sponsor our every move, and with this great opportunity, comes great cost. Below, I have outlined what being apart of Team USA will entail, and what your donations would be going towards.

Team USA fees

• 2025 USAU Membership Dues $70

• Housing/Fields/Food (US Training Weekend) $300

• Transportation to US Training Weekend $0 - 400

• US Team Coaching and Medical $600 - 800

• Tournament Player Fee $400

• Housing/Fields/Food (Training Camp) $600 - 800

• Housing/Food (Tournament) $700 - 800

• Transportation to/from TC/Worlds (flight, bus) $1,600 - 1,900

• Additional food/snacks $100

• Souvenirs (optional - discs, apparel, etc.) $100

APPROX. TOTAL $4,470 - 5,670
