I was in a serious car accident that left me with a shattered pelvis, fractured spine, fractured ribs on both sides, a fractured sternum, and a lacerated bladder. I'm now in a wheel chair The injuries have made daily life extremely challenging, and the road to recovery is long. After being discharged from the hospital on 4/27, I was denied rehab because I only had emergency medical coverage. Now, I have a lot of follow-up appointments and ongoing medical needs.
My insurance isn’t covering everything I need, including catheters and drains that I still have hooked up. I also have to undergo another surgery for my bladder, but my insurance is only covering half of the cost. The rest I have to pay out of pocket, along with other medical bills and supplies. The financial strain is overwhelming, and I’m worried about how I’ll manage these expenses while focusing on healing.
Family and friends, even a penny makes a difference. The thought is what matters, not the amount—anything will be appreciated. God bless, and remember, life is too short; don’t take it for granted. Thank you for helping me through this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in my journey to recovery.
