Hi, my name is Alex , and I’m a 27-year-old single dad doing my best to raise two amazing kids. Recently, we experienced a devastating house fire and lost everything — our home, our belongings, and our sense of stability. I’m currently co-parenting and trying to provide a safe, secure place for my children, but I’ve hit some major roadblocks.

Before the fire, I was already struggling. I lost my job after my car broke down, and I haven’t been able to afford the repairs to get it out of the shop. Life has been a constant uphill battle, and despite my efforts, it feels like I just can’t catch a break.
