Local Musician Carjacked - Lost Everything, Needs Community Help
Hey Sacramento,
My friend Alex Opdyke, a local working musician, was carjacked
last night in our city. The attacker crashed and destroyed his car,
which contained all his music equipment, tools, phone, wallet -
everything he owned.
Sacramento Police responded and the suspect was shot. Alex's car
is being held as evidence. He has no insurance.
Alex is a working musician - he depends on his equipment and
vehicle to get to gigs and earn his living. Without them, he has
no income. He's now stranded with no phone, no ID, and no way
to work.
If you can donate anything - $5, $10, $25 - or just share this
with your friends, it would mean a lot. Sacramento takes care
of its own, especially our local artists.
