Help Alex Overcome Her Medical Challenges
Donation protected
In the end of March my daughter Alex went to the hospital with blurred vision in her right eye. She was discharged with a migraine but everyone quickly realized it was something much more serious when she lost her vision completely in that eye. Alex was hospitalized for 12 days while she underwent countless tests, a spinal tap, many MRIs, steroid infusions and plasmapheresis. She left the hospital only regaining about 10% of her vision.
Alex’s diagnosis is still a bit of a mystery but it is believed she has a demyelinating autoimmune disease. Treatment for this condition will be a financial hardship for her family.
Prior to her medical issues Alex had begun working with me as a lash artist to help provide for her family. Since she was right eye dominant she no longer has the necessary depth perception to continue doing eyelashes and she is out of work.
If possible, we are asking friends and family to support us in this way. Any donation amount is one dollar closer to our goal. Between the bills for the hospital stay and her ongoing care the expenses are overwhelming.
We thank you for taking the time to read her story and share it.
