Help Alex trade in His Bike!

We do not believe in coincidences and that is why we know that God crossed our paths for a reason. It all started one morning while I was on my way to work. I  passed a young man on a bicycle leaving the town of Baldwin in the opposite direction. I saw him on several occassions either walking or riding his bike. I would feel  the Lord speaking to me, but because of the inconvenience, or so I thought, I would just continue on to work. Then one morning, I saw him riding on that 2 lane road in the freezing cold and fog. I felt the Holy Spirit tug at my core. I decided to turn around. I offered the young man a ride and he graciously accepted. He tried to put his bike in the back of my truck but he was unable to lift it. I got out to help him, that's when I realized that he was severely burned, causing his hands to be disfigured. 

I learned that Alex was on his way to volunteer at a Nursing Home, which is over 10 miles away. He makes the long trip 3 days a week.  On the really cold mornings, he walks because the cold wind is too painful on his hands. Alex is passionate about giving back to this facility because he was once a patient there. You see, Alex has burns on over 80% of his body and was treated at this same facility. He loves the patients and staff there. He would like to work there, but he can't work due to his disability. However, it doesn't stop him from volunteering his time and giving back to the people that gave so much to him. 

Alex is unable to purchase a vehicle and that is why I am starting this fund. I would like to surprise him with a dependable vehicle.  If we can all make a small donation, we can make this possible.  Thank you all!
