Alex, my dad, has been living with excruciating pain in his right knee for many years. Now that his knee is bone-on-bone, it’s time for his first major surgery—a total right knee replacement. At 58 years old, Alex works seven days a week in construction, trying to keep afloat, and will eventually need his left knee replaced as well. He is a hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy worker, father, pop pop, and friend. He always puts others first, but now it’s time for him to focus on himself. The pain has taken a major toll on his physical and mental health, and he deserves to be pain-free and able to enjoy life with his grandchild, who will soon start kindergarten.
The funds raised will help pay the upfront cost for Alex’s surgery, and any remaining amount will go toward outstanding medical bills after the surgery is complete. This support will help ease the financial burden and allow him to focus on recovery and regaining his quality of life. If I could take his pain away, I would in a heartbeat. I’m reaching out for help so Alex can experience the joy of working without pain, running around with his grandchild, and enjoying a few more years of happiness. Any support is deeply appreciated.
