Help Alex Galiano's Fight for Recovery
Donation protected
On the evening of March 18th, my beloved nephew, Alexander Galiano, was involved in a devastating accident that shattered our family’s world. Thrown from the vehicle, Alex suffered a broken pelvis, fractured ribs, punctured lung, shattered spleen, and most heartbreakingly, a severe traumatic brain injury.
To know Alex is to love him. You’d know how special and caring and kind he is. You’d know that he’s funny, and adorable and always stood up for what’s right. Alex is the baby of our family. Even at 20 years old, he is his mother’s baby boy. If you’ve met him, he’s left a lasting impression.
Now Alex is fighting for his life. The prognosis has been hard to hear, but in the midst of our pain, a sliver of hope has appeared: Alex has been accepted into Shepherd Hospital in Atlanta, one of the top brain injury rehabilitation centers in the country. This opportunity feels like a miracle and we are clinging to it with all the strength we have left.
We know this is just the beginning of a long, uncertain road. My sister, Alex’s mother, has stopped working, determined to be by his side every step of the way.
We humbly ask for your prayers, your support, and if you are able, a contribution toward the urgent costs of his medevac flight and the long journey to recovery. Every donation, every share, every kind word helps more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
