Hi Everyone,
My name is Alex Miley, and I am a film student studying at Scottsdale Community College. I am in my last semester for my associates degree, and I would like to raise some money for my final project to cover production costs. For our final projects, our professor tasked us to take two culturally significant films, and combine them to create our own film that pays homage. The two films that I selected are "Solaris(1972)" and "Alien(1979)". I chose these two films because they exist in a similar universe and are also very influential to how space films are portrayed and created. These two films had an impact on me, so I can only hope that my film has an impact on others.
For those who may not know, these two films are very production design-heavy and require a lot of attention to detail. This fundraising will cover production design costs as well as studio space rental and talent.
Anyone who donates will be given a credit in the final piece:)
The production will be shooting on April 2nd - April 4th.
