Covid-19 has wrecked havoc on many lives, and my best friend Alex Bullock is no exception. January 20th was a devastating day, as his mom passed away from organ failures as a result of Covid-19.
Alex's friendly persona often tends to mask all of the struggles and trauma he has been through. He is diagnosed with PTSD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and High functioning Autism. Due to this, school has always been challenging for Alex; despite his struggles he has persevered and is committed to getting a higher education.
Despite his tough childhood and financial struggles, Alex was able to attend his dream school, University of Oregon, as an Applied Business Economics major with a Media Studies minor. While taking a full load of classes, he also works at the EMU Guest Services desk, is a member of the Professional Business Fraternity AKPsi, and is an Intern with the University of Oregon Football team.
Alex only has 1 more term of college to complete before he can graduate, but is unable to pay tuition for the remaining term due to his financial struggles. He is unable to take out more student loans, and his paycheck from work is barely enough to cover his living expenses.
Alex is the most positive, giving person I have ever met, and there is no one more deserving of a degree and promising future than him. Any amount you can donate would help Alex continue his education and earn an undergraduate degree. Your contribution would help change his life for the better and would be appreciated immensely!! Please help spread the word. Thank you so much for all your kindness and support to bring hope and light into Alex's life during these difficult times!
