Hi everyone,
Our team at Julie Diehl Salon is coming together to support one of our stylists, Alex Woodcock- a devoted mom to three young children and a self-employed hairstylist.
Over the past several months, Alex’s life was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with neuroborreliosis Lyme disease, a severe neurological form of Lyme. This illness has caused paralysis on one side of her face and brought on symptoms that have made it impossible for her to work. As a self-employed hairstylist, not being able to work means no income, and this has already been the reality for months.
To give herself the best chance at healing, Alex must undergo intensive treatment in Albany five days a week throughout the month of March. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance, leaving her with overwhelming medical, travel, and living expenses, all while trying to care for her children.
Alex is facing this diagnosis with courage, but she cannot do it alone. This fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden so she can focus on what truly matters: her health and her family. Funds raised will go toward medical treatment, travel costs, basic living expenses, and supporting her family during this incredibly difficult time.
If you’re able to donate, share, or send words of encouragement, it would mean more than words can express. Every single act of kindness helps lift some of the weight off Alex’s shoulders.
Thank you for supporting Alex and her family during this journey toward healing.
