Help Alex Crush Brain Cancer

Hi, my name is Chris Worster and I’m starting this fundraiser for my big brother, Alex Worster. Alex was recently diagnosed in January with a very large grade 4 diffuse

glioma. He had an emergency resection of the tumor January 16th and made a very impressive recovery from it. A few weeks later he suffered a few seizures that put him back in the hospital for 3 weeks. He is now back out and recovering once again, but is facing another surgery to remove another (much larger) amount of the tumor by the extremely capable hands of a surgeon at UVA sometime in April likely. Once he heals, he will start a heavy chemotherapy and radiation regimen. This is a tough path that he’s journeying down, but Alex is ready to fight! As we have had more results and information pouring in, the realization is that this fight will take more than him alone. We have a team of family ready to fight by his side! This will not be a short battle and for the foreseeable future, Alex will be out of work. As we all know, the bills don’t stop! The medical bills are rolling in, and there will be many added expenses on top of them coming up with many trips to UVA already planned. Anyone who knows Alex knows that he has a heart of gold. Without batting an eye, he practically raised me for a good part of my childhood while my parents worked. He truly did it out of love and has continued that with my boys.
